Our mission is to advance patient centric aesthetic solutions for healthcare providers that harness the power of innovative science to empower individuals. Our team delivers value through a never-ending stream of proof of concepts that drive validated products and utilities. Responsibilities include:Support data curation efforts through data collection, annotation, and transformationParticipate in the testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of digital solutionsCreate an easily usable system to improve our proof of concepts including building modules for: data ingestion, ETL, model training, evaluation, deployment, etc.Work with and support data scientists to improve our continuous delivery pipeline, ensuring maximum robustness and efficiency Qualifications: Must be registered as a full-time studentMust be able to commit to a regular schedule during standard business hoursUndergraduate and Graduate students in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or related fieldsCumulative minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0, or equivalent12 - 15 hours/week during the fall and/or spring semestersWillingness to collaborate and actively engage in independent learning and open discussionHighly analytical, innovative, demonstrates potential for continuous developmentStrong practical knowledge of PythonStrong understanding of data structures and algorithmsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to quickly digest and modularize complex algorithmsSelf-starter who can prioritize multiple tasks assigned Preferred Skills: Experience with existing data annotation toolsExperience with AWS services including SageMaker, RDS, S3Experience with PostgreSQL – automating routine database tasks including maintenance and updates using scripting and automation toolsExperience with transformation tools such as dbtExperience with building, fine-tuning, and validating machine learning modelsExperience with writing automation test scripts to validate data and software reliability  Authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship Note: The position will be hired through a third-party hiring agency and will begin as soon as possible over the current semester with an option to continue through the upcoming academic year.   Who We Are:AbbVie is a global, research-based biopharmaceutical company formed in 2013.
