Our internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience while contributing to cutting-edge research and initiatives in this rapidly evolving field.Program OverviewType: Virtual InternshipDuration: Minimum of 200 hours (flexible scheduling options)Purpose: For academic credit or knowledge enhancementField: Functional Food ScienceWhat You’ll GainComprehensive knowledge of functional foods, bioactive compounds, and their role in health and nutrition.Practical skills in research, data analysis, and scientific writing.Exposure to real-world applications of functional food science in product development and public health.Opportunity to contribute to articles, presentations, or conference materials.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in reviewing and analyzing scientific literature related to functional foods and bioactive compounds.Support ongoing research projects, including data collection and preliminary analysis.Collaborate on writing or editing articles for publication in functional food journals.Contribute to creating educational materials, such as presentations, infographics, or summaries for conferences.Participate in virtual meetings, brainstorming sessions, and mentorship opportunities.EligibilityStudents or professionals in Food Science, Nutrition, Public Health, Biotechnology, or related fields.Strong interest in functional food science, research, and health applications.Strong proficiency in written and spoken English is required, as interns will engage in scientific writing, literature review, editing, and professional communication related to peer-reviewed publications.Ability to clearly understand, summarize, and communicate complex scientific information in English.Additional InformationAcademic Credit: This internship can be pursued for academic credit if approved by your institution.
