Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with up to 3 years of experience for our Georgetown, Delaware office. This a great entry-level opportunity for an early career engineer to get hands-on experienceResponsibilities:Provide task support to the Construction Observation & Testing groupCoordinate and manage drilling projects and oversee junior staff with management of these projects, as well as visual classification and log preparationCoordinate and review laboratory testingComplete accurate geotechnical exploration reportsPerform engineering calculations, including settlement, bearing capacity, lateral earth pressures, pavement section designs, slope stability, etc.Generate scopes and fees for new projects and prepare complete proposals and budgets.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field of studyEIT preferredOwn Transportation, valid driver's license and good driving recordEnjoy working outdoorsNICET, ACI and/or other certifications are a plus.
