About
Dr. Verhoeven received her PhD from George Mason University in Molecular and Microbiology with a concentration in Infectious Disease in 2010. Dr. Verhoeven joined the Biology Undergraduate Program in August 2010 as a Term-Assistant Professor 2010.
In addition to her teaching duties, Dr. Verhoeven has been the director of the Medical Laboratory Science Program since 2013.
Teaching Focus
She teaches and coordinates undergraduate immunology lecture (BIOL 452) and laboratory (BIOL 453)
