About
I completed my integrated Master's degree in Mathematics at the University of York in 2017. Continuing my studies at York, I was awarded a Ph.D. in Mathematics on 'Semigroup and Monoid Presentations' under the supervision of Professor Victoria Gould in 2022.
Current Research
As a semigroup theorist by training, my research interests are algebraic in nature. My thesis focused on the construction of semigroup presentations for several special classes of semigroups (and other related semigroup products). Specifically, along with my collaborators, we found an explicit semigroup presentation for the singular part of the partial endomorphism monoid of a free G-act of finite rank (where G is a group). My current research interests are to extend many of the ideas within my thesis.
