About
I am a climate scientist seeking to understand the response of the hydrological cycle to climate changes from the past to the present. Our research group integrates proxy reconstructions, climate model simulations, and instrumental observations to quantitatively characterize the spatiotemporal evolution of hydroclimate changes on interannual to glacial-interglacial timescales and investigate the underlying physical mechanisms. We particularly focus on the tropical hydroclimate changes and the intricate interactions between tropical and extratropical regions, including ENSO and ENSO teleconnections, the dynamics of the Indo-Pacific Warm Pool, and the behavior of monsoon systems.
