May 11, 2016 was a happy day of recognition for many of our undergraduate and graduate students who have worked so hard on their studies and research to achieve this milestone.

In the morning, an awards ceremony honoring the top undergraduates and graduates was jointly held by the Department of Environmental Science and Policy, the School of Systems Biology, and the Department of Biology.  Faculty, awardees and their families, and staff were treated to a brunch before an opening statement by Dr. Larry Rockwood (Chair, Department of Biology) led the presentation of awards at 11:00am.

The day of recognition and celebration for ESP students and faculty continued in the afternoon with the College of Science Convocation at the EagleBank Arena at 3:00pm.

Lastly, a note of thanks to Dr. Chris Parsons who provided the majority of the pictures below.
