This spring, undergraduate students were honored at the Peter N. Stearns Provost Scholar Athlete Awards ceremony. The award recognizes the student-athletes who have earned at least 38 credit hours at Mason and have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or better. Each student was asked to choose their favorite faculty member - one who had impacted their college career. Cicely Motamedi (2nd from the left), physics major and a member of the rowing team, chose Matt Holzer as her favorite teacher. Matt accompanied Cicely to the award ceremony where Provost Mark Ginsberg, Assistant Vice President/Director of Athletics Brad Edwards, and Associate Provost Dr. Bethany Usher congratulated the recipients. Congratulations Cicely!
