Dr. Changwoo Ahn selected for a 2016 OSCAR Mentoring Excellence Award

Congratulations are in order!

The Students as Scholars QEP Leadership Council has selected associate professor Dr. Changwoo Ahn for the 2016 OSCAR Mentoring Excellence Award.

The OSCAR Mentoring Excellence Award, given annually by the Leadership Council, recognizes and rewards outstanding Mason community members who mentor undergraduate students on their research and creative activities, and who foster a culture of student scholarship in support of Mason’s Students as Scholars initiative.

Dr. Ahn will be recognized at the Celebration of Student Scholarship. The event will take place on May 4, 2016 in the Center for the Arts from 10:00am-4:00pm, with the recognition ceremony beginning around 3:00pm. Outstanding undergraduate scholars will be displaying their projects, and speaking about their experiences.
