Dr. Kim de Mutsert awarded NASEM Early-Career Research Fellowship

Congratulations to assistant professor Dr. Kim de Mutsert, who is also associate director of the Potomac Environmental Research and Education Center (PEREC). Dr. de Mutsert was awarded a prestigious 2019 Early-Career Research Fellowship for the Gulf Research Program from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, one of of only 20 awarded nationwide.

Dr. de Mutsert plans to use the two-year grant researching the possible effects of environmental changes to fisheries off the coast of Louisiana.
