GGS Department Welcomes Dr. Taylor Anderson

Dr. Taylor Anderson, new Urban Informatics faculty member within the George Mason University GGS Department

The Department of Geography and Geoinformation Science at George Mason University welcomes Dr. Taylor Anderson, a recent graduate of Simon Fraser University, as an Assistant Professor of Urban Informatics for the spring 2020 term. Urban studies is a critically important topic as we learn to navigate the physical and built world around us. Dr. Anderson brings to the department a deep understanding of the real-world challenges and how to address them within the urban context. Dr. Anderson will be instrumental in building out our urban studies research and curriculum. This term, she is teaching Advanced Geographic Information Systems.
