Global Collaboration in Mathematics and AI

The Center for Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence (CMAI) at George Mason University has launched a groundbreaking international collaboration with the University of Concepción in Chile. Through this partnership, students and researchers are tackling real-world optimization problems governed by physics and uncertainty—advancing discoveries in areas like machine learning, fluid dynamics, imaging, and more.

Hear from participants and CMAI Director Harbir Antil about how this program not only drives innovation in mathematical research but also builds global connections that enrich education and scientific discovery.
