Important notice to ESP graduate students who are graduating in Fall 2016

Please take note of this important notice from University Dissertation & Thesis Services!

If you are a Master’s or Doctoral student writing a thesis or dissertation, and you are planning to graduate in the Fall 2016 semester, please be aware of the following extremely important deadlines:

Fall 2016 Format Review deadline: By 9:00 a.m. on Monday, December 5, you must receive an email from our office stating that your formatting is in good shape, and your Format Review is over. If you have not received said email or or by that deadline, then you will not be eligible to graduate in the Fall 2016 semester.

If you have not sent your document to us yet for a Format Review, please do so as soon as possible. 

Fall 2016 Final Submission deadline: In order to graduate in Fall 2016, you must turn in the final copy of your thesis or dissertation and all necessary materials to our office by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9. By “final copy,” we mean the following:

  • The version that UDTS has reviewed and approved for formatting;
  • The version you have successfully defended, if a defense is part of your degree program requirements;
  • And the version that your committee has approved for content.

If we do not receive the final copy of your document and all necessary materials by 5:00 p.m. on 12/9, then you will NOT graduate in the Fall 2016 semester.
