Message from Dean Miralles-Wilhem about the recent unrest

Dear College of Science faculty, staff and students:

Many of us are watching live online as protesters breach the U.S. Capitol building and continue protests in downtown Washington, D.C. over the U.S. Presidential election results. This is unsettling and watching these events can cause real feelings of fear for many. My advice for you: please take care of yourselves and your loved ones, and please step away from work if you need the space.

If you are living in the Washington, D.C. area, please observe curfews that have been put into place. We will continue to update you on any security issues.

Stay safe, hope to see you soon under better circumstances.

Warm regards,

FMW
