NeuroMorpho.Org receives Distinguished Achievement Award for Data Sharing

Congratulations to the team at NeuroMorpho.Org team who won the "Distinguished Achievement Award in Data Sharing" in the DataWorks! Challenge. NeuroMorpho.Org is a central repository of digitally reconstructed neurons and glia associated with peer reviewed publications. NeuroMorpho.Org was one of 11 teams selected from 106 team submissions by a panel of NIH officials in the inaugural 2022 DataWorks! Prize
In May 2022, NIH ODSS partnered with the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) to launch the DataWorks! Prize to highlight examples of innovative data sharing and reuse. The DataWorks! Challenge illustrates the benefits of research data management and rewards teams whose research demonstrates the power of data sharing or reuse practices to advance scientific discovery and human health. The 106 teams were comprised of 537 members across disciplines in biochemistry, clinical research, genomics, immunology, molecular biology, neuroscience, and more completed in the challenge.
