OSCAR Summer Celebration of Student Scholarship features ESP and PEREC students

You are cordially invited to attend the poster event on Friday, August 4, 2017, where the results of the Summer Team Projects will be presented at the OSCAR Summer Celebration of Student Scholarship.

From PEREC, there are five undergraduate students presenting the work they did with PEREC (mentors: Drs. Amy Fowler, Kim de Mutsert, Cindy Smith, Tom Huff, Greg Foster, Dann Sklarew, and R. Chris Jones), and two students presenting on a forensic entomology project (ESP mentor: Dr. Joris van der Ham).  Also being presented are 4 movies by ESP graduate student Chelsea Gray about the PEREC summer research project.

Undergraduate students will display posters with the results of their research and creative projects at the OSCAR Summer Celebration of Student Scholarship, the culminating event of the summer academic session.

The event will also feature video presentations and a concert showcasing student work. Students, mentors, friends, and community members are welcome to explore the extraordinary student projects. Undergraduates from a variety of programs and disciplines will be present.
