Scientific Leadership and Practice

Description

The intent of this minor is to build scientific communication, engagement, and leadership practices. Students will be equipped with the following:

  1. The ability to communicate effectively about the science they undertake and the challenges they face in ways that are meaningful related to their field of study.
  2. The skills to participate and lead others in scientific ventures. Eight credits of coursework must be unique to the minor.

Course Requirements: 18 credits

Science Literacy Core: 6 credits

Computational Thinking: 3 credits

Quantitative Reasoning: 3 credits

Leadership or Communication: 3 credits

Internship Course: 3 credits
