Shukla interviewed on climate change

AOES professor Jagadish Shukla is featured in an extended interview about climate change on news website america.cgtn.com.

"Here's the dilemma," Shukla explains. "It is the fossil fuels which are responsible for the explosive growth of our civilization for the last 200 years... but they will do major harm... If we can start bending the curve in 2025... and if you can achieve a 50% reduction by 2050, we can avoid serious climate change."

Shukla also talks about his introduction to science as a barefoot high school student in an Indian village and about the backlash that scientists can face when they speak out against climate disinformation.
