Thank you, Dr. Andalibi

Dear Ali:

On behalf of the entire science community at Mason, thank you for your tremendous efforts to continue

Growing Flower

the important mission of our College of Science over the past year by serving as our interim Dean.

Leadership in a time of such change can certainly be challenging under the best of circumstances. Yet you had to guide our college through unprecedented challenges. From mobilizing our tremendous research expertise within the COVID-19 pandemic, to navigating our science community conversion to effective, productive virtual learning mode, to advocating for the safe and inclusive community as a response to the racial injustice across our country, you have answered the call above and beyond what you probably envisioned when you accepted this leadership role.

My sincere thanks for cultivating the fertile soil to help us grow.

With gratitude,

FMW
