Cathy Becker (’96 MS ESP) and her husband have generously established the Catherine Z and Richard J Becker Environmental Science and Policy Graduate Research Assistantship for students pursuing a graduate degree in the College of Science.
I’ve had a lot of great experiences as a George Mason graduate student in the Geography and Geoinformation Science (GGS) department, and this summer I was invited to Google’s Geo-Teachers Institute (GTI) conference.
It has been two months since the last update, and there has been significant progress on the interior and exterior of the Potomac Science Center building. New construction photos are included.
The Mason Observatory, located on the roof of Research Hall on the Fairfax Campus, was opened by the College of Science on January 24, 2007 and stands as a beacon of research, instruction, and community involvement on campus.
Mr. Clive H. J. Mason is a Senior Environmental Specialist at the World Bank and will be a guest of Dr. Younsung Kim’s EVPP638 Corporate Environmental Management and Policy class on Monday, November 14, 2016, at 7:20pm in Innovation Hall, Room 317.
