Bachelor’s Accelerated Master’s (BAM) Program: Geology BS to Earth Systems Science (ESS) MS

GMU's Bachelor's Accelerated Master's (BAM) program allows highly qualified undergraduates to take graduate-level courses while still completing their bachelor's degree. While students can use up to 12 graduate credits to satisfy both undergraduate and graduate requirements, they can also take an additional 6 credits on reserve. These reserve credits are not counted toward the undergraduate degree but are held for the master's degree, allowing you to start your master's with up to 12 credits applied to both your undergraduate and graduate degrees and 6 reserve graduate credits, for a total of 18 graduate credits earned as an undergraduate.

Please refer to the catalog description of the Geology BS to Earth System Science (ESS) MS pathway, for information on the Climate Science MS Application Requirements, the Accelerated Option Requirements, Reserve Graduate Credit, and Graduate Course Suggestions.
