Some of the work I do here at Mason in the Environmental Science and Policy Department include assisting our HR specialist with their daily responsibilities as well as being the office manager for the department -  this includes manning the front desk and assisting in-person traffic.
A fun fact about myself is that I absolutely adore animals and enjoy spending some of my free time volunteering at the animal shelter as well as working with different rescue groups within the DC, MD, VA area. I have recently started volunteering with wildlife rescue groups which has granted me the amazing opportunity to work with animals that I typically wouldn’t be able to get up close and personal with. Within the past year, I have had the privilege of rescuing foxes, turtles, raccoons, rabbits, opossums and all different kinds of birds, including a few bald eagles. I have a huge passion for helping those who may not always be capable of helping themselves.
