About
Research and teaching: To carry out research on predictability on weather and climate variations; To teach undergraduate and graduate classes.
Current Research
Analysis of observations and model outputs to investigate the predictability of weather and climate variations with a special emphasis on variability and predicability of monsoon circulation and rainfall. Affiliated with the Center for Ocean-Land-Atmosphere Studies (COLA); Study of climate, poverty, and sustainability in a changing climate.
Teaching Focus
Introductory course on climate (CLIM 101); Advanced course on predictability of weather and climate (CLIM 751)
