About
I am a postdoctoral research fellow specializing in using climate model simulations and paleoclimate reconstructions to investigate the drivers of tropical climate change. My current research focuses on diagnosing the controls of pantropical precipitation during key periods such as the last deglaciation and the last interglacial. I hold an MS from the University of Wyoming, where I studied centennial-to-millennial scale climate variability in the western United States, and a PhD from Brown University, where my research centered on orbital-scale climate changes in the Indo-Pacific Warm Pool region. My overarching interest lies in understanding the forces that drive climate, especially precipitation, with the goal of constraining how future climate change will impact people.
