Celebrate the summer solstice with telescope views of the sun, moon, Mars, Venus, star clusters, and colorful double stars at the largest astronomy outreach event in the USA.

Dr. Ezinne Uzo-Okoro, Assistant Director for Space Policy, White House Office of Science and Technology Policy will participate in the AFNM and open the event at 6 p.m.
Representatives from Focus Features will be on hand to promote Wes Anderson’s new film Asteroid City, about a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention, with giveaways and a photo booth.
George Mason university is a Supernova Sponsor of this year's event.
