Getting a job offer is a big step, but knowing how to show up once the experience begins matters just as much. In this 45-minute seminar, students will learn what STEM employers often expect from interns and early-career professionals, including how to communicate effectively, take initiative, respond to feedback, and navigate workplace norms. Students will leave with practical tips for making a strong first impression, building confidence in a new role, and turning an internship, research position, or first job into a meaningful career-building experience.
