Title:   Entropy of polynomial maps on Q_p

Abstract:  This is a joint work with Hongming Nie. We showed that polynomial maps on Q_p or their extensions that have compact Julia set and finite critical orbit must have entropy being an algebraic integer, and furthermore their Artin-Mazur zeta function must be rational with integer coefficients. Furthermore, we showed that such maps are continuous with respect to the coefficients. I will also discuss some further ongoing work where we investigate families of polynomial maps parametrized by Berkovich spaces.
