Title: Relating the dynamics of normal numbers for varying numeration systems
Abstract: If we take two different dynamical systems on the same space, do we expect the orbit of a point in one system to tell us anything about the properties of the orbit of the point in the other system? Unless the dynamical systems are extremely closely related like one being a speed-up of the other, we would think no. In general, this is remarkably hard to prove. We will focus on examples related to numeration systems like base-b expansions and continued fraction expansions, and discuss connections to descriptive set theory.
