GIS Day 2026
Nov 19, 2026, 12:30 - 4:30 PM
Exploratory Hall
A global event celebrating Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geography, mapping, and the innovators and problem-solvers who use spatial data to drive real-world impact. At George Mason, we are proud to be part of this worldwide network of celebrations, bringing together leaders and prospective employers from federal, state, and local government, industry, and academia. This year's theme, 3D GIS and Digital Twins, features three dynamic speakers exploring how these technologies are advancing underground utility mapping, space exploration, and geointelligence. We will also host Graduate Lightning Talks, showcasing innovative student research, and a Career Panel where students can connect with prospective employers and learn about internship and career opportunities in the geospatial field.
