Graduate Student Career Workshop: Exploring Research Careers Outside Academia
Feb 4, 2025, 2:30 - 4:00 PM
Virtual via Zoom
Learning about, conducting, and applying research are a primary feature of graduate study. The skills and competencies you gain from research work can be valuable assets on the job market. Although many research-minded grad students pursue careers within academia (e.g., faculty), you may be interested in exploring research careers in industry, government, and/or nonprofits.
Join us at this virtual event that will feature a panel of Mason graduate alumni who currently work in research-related roles in applied settings. Following the panel, University Career Services will share strategies and resources for your research job search.
