Learning Assistant virtual poster session

Please join us in celebrating the work of our Learning Assistants (LAs), who are working in over 40 courses across the College of Science to facilitate student learning. This year in particular, LAs have been working with faculty to respond creatively to extraordinary circumstances and help students learn in new online and hybrid environments.  

On Friday, April 30, the LAs will be presenting posters reflecting on their teaching experiences.  Find out how their experiences--working with students and faculty, and participating in the LA seminar--have affected them as teachers and learners.  The LAs are eager to share what they've learned with you--because you share their commitment to improving STEM teaching and learning at Mason and beyond.  

 The poster session will take place in the Gather.town platform, where you’ll have the opportunity not only to look at LAs’ posters and talk with them about it, but also to “walk around” and “run into people” to chat with.  If you RSVP, then you’ll receive an email closer to the event with the link to get in.
