Belmont Elementary School students visit Mason's Potomac Science Center

Students from Belmont Elementary School recently visited George Mason University's Potomac Science Center for a day of learning led by Cindy Smith, Associate Professor, Environmental Science and Policy; Director of K-12 Education and Outreach, PEREC; and Ecological Stewardship, Community Connector. Students rotated between three learning stations on watersheds, erosion, and how animals adapt to their environment. Mason alumna, Wren Bell, took part in leading sessions with students. Watch the video released by Prince William County Schools highlighting the students' visit.
