Celebrating Outstanding Achievement
Each spring, George Mason University honors the exceptional contributions of its faculty and staff through the Outstanding Achievement Awards. These awards recognize individuals and teams who exemplify George Mason’s values and mission through their dedication, innovation, and service. Sponsored by a variety of university departments, these honors highlight the diverse ways George Mason employees help our community thrive.
We are thrilled to celebrate two outstanding members of our college who were recognized during this year’s ceremony:
Christopher Durac – Exceptional Support Award
Christopher Durac, project manager for the Forensic Science Program, was recognized with the Exceptional Support Award, given to employees who are the reliable foundation of their departments. Known for providing excellent customer service and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly, Durac is a true “go-to” person whose commitment and hard work help drive the success of their team and the university at large.
Carrie McVicker and the LSEB Team – Patriot Pathbreakers Award
