Dr. Dann Sklarew nominated for AASHE Lifetime Achievement Award

Congratulations to Dr. Dann Sklarew on his nomination for the AASHE Lifetime Achievement Award by Mason’s Office of Sustainability. This award is the highest honor issued by AASHE to an individual, and recognizes “outstanding leaders (both academics and practitioners) who have made significant contributions to the advancement of sustainability in higher education over their lifetimes.” 

In mid-August, Mason's Office of Sustainability will receive notification from judges about the nomination, and AASHE will announce the finalists. Soon thereafter, in mid-September, AASHE will notify and announce the winners. Additionally, the nomination will remain on file for the next three years.

For their Oct 20-22, 2020 Global Conference for Sustainability in Higher Education, Dr. Sklarew also has a presentation accepted, “Integration of the SDGs Across Curricular / Co-Curricular Programs: Shared Best Practices.”
