Dr. Thomas Lovejoy is awarded Beck Family Presidential Medal

Congratulations to ESP and University Professor Dr. Thomas Lovejoy, who has been awarded the Back Family Presidential Medal for Faculty Excellence in Research & Scholarship. The medal is part of the Presidential Awards for Faculty Excellence at George Mason University.

This honor recognizes Dr. Lovejoy’s exemplary achievements and tremendous contributions to George Mason University, his students, and the broader community. The Beck Family Award is presented to a faculty member whose contributions represent groundbreaking advances in their field.

Dr. Lovejoy will be bestowed this honor in person at the Commencement ceremony on May 18, 2018.  As part of this award, an account will be established in the George Mason University Foundation with $10,000 in discretionary funds to support Dr. Lovejoy’s professional work.
