NCSE Features Mason Programs in Member Spotlight

Numerous George Mason University College of Science departments and research centers were recognized along with sustainability partners from across the university in this month’s National Council for Science and the Environment (NCSE) member spotlight.

It’s been more than 14 years that Mason’s Environmental Science and Policy department has fostered its relationship with the NCSE, a nonprofit organization that its website describes has a mission to advance informed environmental policy- and decision-making through science.

The council’s work and programs include interdisciplinary research, scientific assessment, information dissemination, training, and curriculum development to engage scientists, educators, policymakers, business leaders, and officials at all levels of government. Established in 1990, the NCSE has a longstanding reputation for nonpartisanship. Read Mason’s member feature and more about the NCSE Mission and History.
