New Data Science and Astrobiology Blog

We are featuring a new science themed blog on the Computational and Data Sciences Department webpage, on Data Sciences and Computational Social Sciences applications into the fields of Astrobiology and Space Sciences: https://science.gmu.edu/academics/departments-units/computational-data-sciences/data-science-and-astrobiology-blog. Created by Dr. Anamaria Berea, Associate Professor of Data Sciences, this blog will address interesting topics in data sciences (image processing, natural language processing, machine learning, deep learning), computational sciences (from information theory and network theory to agent-based simulations) and complex systems (non-linear dynamics, heterogeneity, emergence, etc.) applied to space sciences and astrobiology. The blog will feature the latest research at the intersection of these fields, as well as interesting historical facts. Check back every week for updates and new articles.
