Virginia’s Climate Future

Climate Dynamics professor Jim Kinter will be participating in a discussion about Virginia’s Climate Future.  Dr. Kinter is chair of AOES and director of the Center for Ocean-Land-Atmosphere Studies (COLA).

Dr. Kinter writes, “As the Commonwealth faces threats due to global warming, Virginians are rising to the challenge. This event provides an opportunity to learn about the new normal in Virginia and how we are already tackling the problems of climate change.”

The discussion will feature environmental activists, a member of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, and Mason faculty and students.
