About
I am a biological and forensic anthropologist. I received my Ph.D. in Anthropology from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My research focuses on applying quantitative genetics methods to study morphological variation in the human body. Specifically, I study how growth patterns morphological variation in limb elements, and how different evolutionary forces influence that process.
I also have an interest in forensic anthropology. I worked on active cases in New York City, central Illinois, California, Missouri, and Kansas, and I participated in an investigation of human rights violation in Somaliland. Part of my research focuses on the practice of forensic anthropology in the medico-legal system. In addition, I also examine how populations differences in growth patterns can be applied to forensic settings.
