ABSTRACT: Abstract: Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the research lifecycle. Emerging tools now help researchers brainstorm ideas, understand complex papers, write and debug code, analyze data, and improve scientific manuscripts. Publishers are also developing policies that permit certain uses of AI when they are transparently disclosed and authors retain responsibility for the final work. These developments are accelerating the journey from research ideas to publication, while also contributing to a rapidly growing and increasingly fragmented scientific literature. Researchers must monitor numerous journals, preprint servers, databases, and alerting services to identify work relevant to their specific interests. Although many AI-enabled tools support individual stages of research, relatively few address the continuing challenge of personalized research discovery and knowledge organization.
