Application deadline: Research-to-Impact Partnerships Workshop
Sep 15, 2026, 5:00 PM
George Mason University faculty are invited to apply for the Research-to-Impact Partnerships Workshop: Translating Grand Challenge Research into Real-World Impact, a two-day interactive program offered by the Office of Research, Innovation, and Economic Impact.
The workshop is designed to help faculty build and sustain the partnerships needed to translate research into meaningful real-world impact. Participants will gain practical tools and frameworks for identifying potential partners, developing productive relationships, communicating the value of their research to diverse stakeholders, and creating partnership strategies aligned with their research goals.
The workshop supports George Mason’s Grand Challenge Initiative (GCI) but is open to all faculty interested in developing transdisciplinary partnerships.
Space is limited. Priority will be given to PI-eligible faculty, as defined by University Policy 4012, and participants who can attend both workshop days on Oct. 22–23, 2026.
