What does it mean to teach for all in the College of Science?
Become a STEM Teaching Fellow and join a community of faculty dedicated to strengthening their teaching practice and supporting all students. Faculty participants will receive a $500 stipend after completing the program.

This unique professional development opportunity for College of Science faculty provides a space to learn modern inclusive pedagogies and to develop plans for implementing them in the future.
The program runs from Monday, July 6 through Friday, August 7, 2026.
Who is eligible?
Open to any/all full-time tenure, tenure-track, or term faculty member in the College of Science
How is the fellowship delivered?
The fellowship has 2 parts:
Part 1: July 6-August 6, 2026, 5-week asynchronous Canvas course with self-paced learning modules about inclusive teaching in STEM and discussion boards. Participants will have weekly requirements.
Part 2: August 7, 2026, 1 day institute (synchronous Zoom)
How will participants be compensated?
Faculty participants will receive a $500 stipend after completing the program.
STEM Accelerator
The STEM Teaching Fellowship is administrated and sponsored by the STEM Accelerator.
The STEM Accelerator is an interdisciplinary group of faculty who collaborate on programs, grants, and interventions to help the undergraduate students in the College of Science at Mason.
