Biological Sciences Spotlight: Mosquito Surveillance Fights Deadly Viruses

George Mason University’s Biomedical Research Laboratory partners with Prince William County to track and test mosquitoes for West Nile virus. Since 2016, the program has helped target outbreaks, reduce disease spread, and expand research into mosquito-borne illnesses locally and globally.
