Join us for the seventh annual Earth System Observations and Modeling (ESOM) Graduate Symposium, focused on Integrating Traditional and Novel Approaches to Earth System Science. Hosted by the Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic, and Earth Sciences (AOES), with support from the Chandran J. Shukla Endowed Fellowship and the Center for Ocean-Land-Atmosphere Studies (COLA).

This one-day symposium welcomes graduate students from George Mason and other institutions to share research related to Earth’s climate, including observational and modeling studies. The event features:
- 15‑minute oral presentations
- Poster session
- Keynote speakers
- A career panel with faculty and scientists from universities and federal labs
