Mason Science honors faculty and staff achievements

On Thursday, December 12, Interim Dean Cody W. Edwards joined faculty and staff at the 2024 Celebration of Success, honoring Mason Science’s achievements. The celebration featured prize giveaways and recognized 17 outstanding faculty and staff from over 100 nominees for their contributions throughout the year.

Research using AI to track Amazon rainforest species produces landmark results

Thanks to the tenacity of George Mason University biology professor David Luther, animals in the Amazon have a lot less privacy these days, but that’s good for scientists who to want know what’s going on in the Brazilian rainforests.
